Teen Summer Reading
Reviews and Raffle
This summer, Pearl River Public Library is encouraging teens to read, blog, and win fun prizes!
This year for our teen summer reading program, we have created our own blog where our teens can post book reviews.
For every review of 300 words or more, participating teens will get 1 hour of volunteer time and 5 raffle tickets. Reviews must be submitted by Wednesday each week. Each Friday, we will draw a raffle ticket and the winning teen will get a prize, for example, a gift card to Starbucks or Barnes &Noble.
If you don’t win one week, there’s no reason to worry because we keep every raffle ticket that is not chosen. The more reviews you write, the better your odds of winning!
For teens to get credit, they must post using their full names (first and last).
Reviews have to be at least 300 words for teens to get an hour of volunteer time.
